The Diversity Champions network was initiated by Big Society Capital, and is open to all individuals in the social investment sector.
SIFIs (Systematically Important Financial Institutions) can nominate an individual with demonstrated commitment and passion for championing diversity within their organizations for the Diversity Champions network.
The Diversity Champions network conducted their first meeting in August 2017, and the peer-support network has been instrumental in helping each other champion this long but essential journey for diversity.
The Champions will also play a crucial role in collecting data relating to diversity within their organizations and from invests, and sharing the data with the Diversity Champions network to support each other’s work.
